New Premises for Steeltek Systems Ltd.
Published: October 2005
SteelTek Systems Ltd. specialist contractor and manufacturer of light steel frame components and structures for the residential and construction sectors announce the acquisition of a new factory and office premise to meet their strategic expansion requirements.
John Dennis, CEO of SteelTek says 'To meet our planned development in offsite construction methodology, Steeltek have commissioned further new manufacturing equipment.
SteelTek will be importing from New Zealand, Howick FrameCad™ roll-forming machinery to manufacture its light steel frame product.'
John continues 'Quite simply we needed larger premises to accommodate our new equipment investment and our ongoing expansive production schedules and capacities.
The company and its Directors retain strong bonds with the rural community, "we were very keen to maintain a manufacturing profile within the rural community, rather than taking the more accepted urban option" says John Dennis.
All too many rural businesses in Hampshire have taken the route of expansion to urban business parks, producing ever diminishing prospects for the rural dweller and a marked effect upon community and the services within.
"We were therefore eager to keep our expanding business and the future opportunities it will provide within the area".
SteelTek are based near Alresford, Winchester, Hampshire and produce light steel frame components for the building industry and manufacture a range of prefabricated and custom design buildings for domestic, agricultural and light industrial use.
